The Torcatis Suite is a luxurious oasis spanning 25m², located in the heart of Perpignan on Place de la République. Please note that there is no elevator, but once you reach this elegant retreat, you will be enchanted by its charm.
This suite was named in honour of the memory of Louis Torcatis, a schoolteacher born in 1904 in Tautavel, a few kilometres from Perpignan. He refused the defeat of 1940 and joined the resistance, later becoming departmental chief of the Secret Army in January 1943. He died in an ambush on 18 May 1944 in Carmaux. A granite arch is dedicated to his memory not far from Place Catalogne.
